性质：无臭，味苦。熔点227-229℃。易溶于水、甲醇、乙醇和甘油，微溶于氯仿、乙醚；难溶于丙酮。再酸性条件下稳定，在碱性条件下易分解失效。
用途：该品是驱肠虫药。左旋咪唑的活性约为消旋体的两倍，毒性及副作用也较低。左旋咪唑能使蛔虫肌肉麻痹后随粪便排出体外。主要用于抗蛔虫及抗钩虫。
