治疗帕金森药物:
盐酸普拉克索是一种治疗帕金森综合征药物，属选择性非麦角类多巴胺受体激动剂，由德国勃林格殷格翰(Boehringer Ingelheim)公司研发成功，是目前全球处方用量最大的多巴胺受体激动剂，1997年5月首次获得美国FDA批准用于特发性帕金森病的治疗，能减轻患者的症状和体征，可以单独或与左旋多巴联合应用，在美国上市销售的商品名Mirapex，是FDA在过去6年中首次批准用于帕金森的药物。2007年在中国上市，商品名森福罗，用来治疗特发性帕金森病的体征和症状，单独(无左旋多巴)或与左旋多巴联用。
盐酸普拉克索治疗帕金森病的两大疗效特点：
1，缓解帕金森病运动症状：帕金森病是由于脑内黑质多巴胺能神经元丢失引起多巴胺缺乏，导致患者出现震颤、肌强直和运动迟缓等一系列症状。盐酸普拉克索可高度选择性地作用于多巴胺能D2和D3受体，激动脑内多巴胺的释放，改善运动症状。Shannon等的研究显示，早期帕金森病患者接受普拉克索单药治疗后，可有效控制运动症状，帮助早期患者维持日常生活能力。普拉克索联合左旋多巴还能有效改善晚期帕金森病患者的ADL评分和运动症状评分，使晚期帕金森病患者生命更具活力。
2，显著改善帕金森病患者伴发的抑郁症状：盐酸普拉克索是多巴胺D2、D3受体激动剂，而多巴胺D3受体系统可能与患者的情绪和行为相关，普拉克索可以选择性地刺激D3受体，且其对D3受体的激动作用更高于D2受体，可明显缓解抑郁症状。在意大利Barone等的研究中，伴发抑郁的帕金森病患者分别接受普拉克索或舍曲林治疗后，普拉克索组抑郁症状缓解患者的比例明显高于舍曲林组。研究者认为，多巴胺受体激动剂（普拉克索）可替代抗抑郁药来治疗帕金森病患者的抑郁。
普拉克索对受损的神经元有保护效果，抖动症状控制得也很好，副作用在帕金森领域内最少，并且后期调药空间较大，利于后续治疗，可避免因长期使用左旋多巴造成的神经损害，延缓需要左旋多巴治疗的时间，减少左旋多巴的剂量。
