用途 止血药，对创伤性出血效果显著，术前预防性用药可减少手术出血。
氨甲环酸为氨甲苯酸的衍生物，是一种抗纤溶的止血药物，止血机制与氨基己酸、氨甲苯酸相同，但作用更强，强度是氨基己酸的7～10倍、氨甲苯酸的2倍，而毒性相近。
不良反应：服用氨甲环酸的不良反应较氨基己酸为少。可能出现头痛、头晕、恶心、腹泻、呕吐、胸闷、嗜睡等症状，停药后即可逐渐消失，偶有药物过量所致颅内血栓形成和出血，较少见的有经期不适(经期血液凝固所致)。
