西地那非（Sildenafil），又译昔多芬，是一种研发治疗心血管疾病药物时意外发明出的治疗男性勃起功能障碍药物，一般以其商业用名Viagra（中国大陆注册名万艾可，台湾和香港注册名威而钢）广为人知。不过相对于商品名西地那非在中国的俗名“伟哥”使用的更广泛，影响也更大。由于辉瑞公司对西地那非享有专利权，因此该公司以西地那非的枸橼酸盐（柠檬酸盐）所制造的万艾可，是目前市面上唯一合法以西地那非作为主要成分的药物。 Sildenafil citrate, sold as Viagra, Revatio and under various other trade names, is a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It was originally developed by British scientists and then brought to market by the US-based pharmaceutical company Pfizer.[1] It acts by inhibiting cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5, an enzyme that promotes degradation of cGMP, which regulates blood flow in the penis. Since becoming available in 1998, sildenafil has been the prime treatment for erectile dysfunction; its primary competitors on the market are tadalafil (Cialis) and vardenafil (Levitra).
