Initiated by “General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine” - AQSIQ as well as China Entry& Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (CIQA), International Import& Export Food Policy, Laws and Regulations Summit (IFPS) will be held in Shanghai, China on May 13th, 2018. This summit will start around the influence generated by the current reform of government functions to the import and export food industry and will discuss and research on such hot topics as analysis of international import and export food policies and regulations, registration and supervision of overseas processing enterprises on imported food, Influence of the reform of government functional organization on current imported food policy, food safety supervision and management requirements for infant formula milk powder under the new deal, introduction of import and export food association's trade policy to China, prospect of international import& export fresh food industry chain establishing, etc.
Relevant government department and industry association representatives from China, Germany, Spain, France, Brazil, Denmark, Poland, Australia, USA, Ireland, UK, Japan, Korea, Thailand and New Zealand will participate in the summit, such as German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, German Meat and Dairy Association, German Poultry Association, INTERPORC, PROVACUNO, INAPORC& INTERBEV, French Agri-Food Council, U.S. Meat Export Federation, Danish Agri-Food Council, Meat& Livestock Australia, Poland National Poultry Council Chamber of Commerce, ABPA, ABIEC, EU-Beef, New Zealand Meat Industry Association and AHDB, etc. They will make presentations and analysis on the national import and export food policy and laws and export trade policy to China. And they will also provide green channel and cooperation platform on how to let overseas organizations and enterprises get China’s markets access and how to explore China’s market.
The 3rd IFPS was successfully held in Guangzhou on September 18th, 2017. More than 300 representatives from AQSIQ, “Chinese Ministry of Agriculture”, CNCA, “General Administration of Customs”, foreign governments, technical experts, industry organizations and related enterprises representatives analyzed and discussed on the topics including “Interpretation on Chinese Imported Food Policy and Regulations”, “Quality Safety of Chinese Agricultural Produce”, “Analysis on Hygiene Registration system of Imported Food Processing Enterprises Abroad”, “Analysis on Anti-smuggling Rules of Prohibited Goods in the Process of Clearance of Food Import”, “Safety Supervision and Management Policy of China Imported Food” and “Food export policies and regulatory systems from other nations”.
This summit will take place during the 4th China International Food, Meat and Aquatic Products Exhibition 2018 (FMA CHINA).
